Tariqa-e-Maizbhandaria Hazrat Shah Sufi Syed Ahmad Ullah (1826-1906), founder of Tariqa e Maizbhandaria, was a descendant of Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH). Since his departure in 1906 spiritualism and philosophy (Tasawwuf or Sufi way) has continuously been flourishing among the millions of devotees, which is also frequently interpreted as a tariqa (way of mass people towards Allah SWT) suitable for all according to their merit and beliefs, which is popularly known as Walayat-e-Motlaqa. For Muslims it will strengthen their iman and for non-Muslims they can find the Nur (Divine light) of Iman rekindled in their heart. The Maizbhandaria tariqa encourages regular prayer of Islam for Muslims, synthesizes various spiritual streams and characteristic of Qadiria tariqa, Malamiah, Chistia and Tariqa-e-Khidhir to compose a composite nature of spiritualism to fit the modern age and practice. It holds the position in favour of religious freedom and give emphasis on the good moral and spiritual conduct over mechanical ritualistic practices. One of the major dawah of this tariqa is an open call to all religions to come in a platform under the common belief in one creator and to consider diversity as normal and a will of Allah (SWT) for the total betterment of the humanity.
